Our vision
Most trade websites come out of the same theme, with a different logo stuck on top. At Ocrea, every site starts from a blank page: the photos are the business's own, the copy is written for it, and the structure follows what its customers actually come to do — book, compare a price, find an address. The proof is higher up this page: nine businesses, nine sites that don't look alike.
That hasn't changed crossing borders. The same work holds up in Annecy, Geneva and Málaga, in three languages, because a site is never written for whoever builds it — it's written for the customers who'll read it, in their language, for their use. That's the one thing we never compromise on.
Questions
The questions we get asked before we start, in the order they come up.
You write to us, and we answer every message. Then we look at how you work and at what your customers come to you for, before proposing anything at all. The price is quoted at that point, not at the end.
Two weeks, from kick-off to going live. You have no copy to write and no account to open: we keep to the schedule, you only have to read it over.
Thirty per cent at the order, the rest on delivery, once the site is live. The amount itself is quoted before we start: the first two offers are shown on this page, and a bespoke tool is quoted line by line.
Not a line of copy: we write it, you read it over and correct it. There is nothing for you to set up either — going live and the domain name are on our side, including keeping an eye on the renewal date.
No. Every site starts from a blank page, and its structure follows what your customers come to do on it — book, compare a price, find an address. Nine businesses are shown higher up this page: not one looks like the others.
Changing a price, a photo, your opening hours, a paragraph: up to four requests a month, included in the subscription. They do not roll over from one month to the next. An extra page, or a feature the site does not have yet, is quoted before it is built — never after.
We do, and it is never billed. We open your site regularly and test what has to work: the pages, the forms, the bookings. You should not find out about a problem from an unhappy customer.
Hosting, the domain name, and our time. The breakdown is right above, line by line, with each provider's public price — you can check it yourself in one click.
The site stays online for as long as the subscription is paid — it is what pays for the hosting, the database and our time. The day you stop it, the site is no longer served. The domain name, though, stays yours: it is your address, not ours, and it never changes hands.
